About Us

Who We Are
Little People Christian Day Care was formed in 1977 by two Christian women who loved children and saw a need in the community for a happy and safe learning environment. The vision of these founders remains alive at Little People which continues to be a warm and caring home away from home for children of all cultural backgrounds and religious faiths.
Little People has what the parents are looking for in a early childhood education. Our program takes into account the whole child's physical, emotional, academic and spiritual dimensions. Our teacher to student ratio is 2:15, which gives the children opportunity for valuable one on one time with caring staff.

We open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm year round. We offer three(3) flexible programs to fit your child's need:
  1. Our Full-Day Program is from 7:30am - 6:00pm.
    (Preschool plus extended Day Care.)
  2. Half-Day Preschool Program is from 8:30am - 12:30pm.
  3. Three-Quarter (3/4) is from 8:30am - 3:00pm.
    (Preschool plus extended Day care.)
We do have planned curriculum in the afternoon for children who are in the Full-Day or Three-Quarter(3/4) Day Program). In addition, we offer hot-lunch daily.
Little People is tucked well away from the street, which allows better safety for the children. The playground has been refurbished and is completely fenced.
